Welcome to the National Board for Certification in Hearing Instrument Sciences (NBC-HIS)

As an organization dedicated to providing a standard of excellence among hearing health professionals, NBC-HIS has developed this site as a resource for its certificants and those looking to become board certified, as well as individuals who are concerned about choosing the most qualified practitioners for their hearing health needs.

EVENTS and EXAMS:

June 7-9, Hearing HealthCare Alliance of New York (HHCANY),
The Saratoga Hilton & Conference Center, Saratoga Springs, NY.

June 7, NBC-HIS EXAM for Board Certification at 2:00 P.M.

The HHCANY is offering the NBC-HIS EXAM at the
New Horizon's Testing Center, in Albany.  
NBC-HIS staff will provide round trip transportation from the
conference to the exam center.  Pre-register for the exam
with NBC-HIS, prior to Wed. May 30, 2012.

July 11, NBC-HIS EXAM for Board Certification at 2:00 P.M.

The Florida Society of Hearing Healthcare Professionals (FSHHP) is offering the NBC-HIS EXAM.
You must pre-register for the exam with NBC-HIS prior to July 3, 2012.
The exam will take place July 11 at 2:00 PM.  NBC-HIS will
provide transportation round trip from the Annual Convention
to the Valencia College, 2411 Sand Lake Road, Orlando, FL. 32809

July 12-15, FSHHP Inc.  Annual Convention,
Caribe Royale Hotel Orlando, Orlando, FL.

August 15, NBC-HIS EXAM for Board Certification at 2:00 PM

The 19th Annual Mid-Atlantic Hearing Care Conference (MAHCC) is offering the NBC-HIS EXAM. 
You must pre-register for the exam with NBC-HIS prior to August 8, 2012.
The exam will take place August 15 at 2:00 PM.  NBC-HIS will provide
transportation round trip from the Annual Conference to the
Greenville, Exam Center.

August 16-18,  19th Annual Mid-Atlantic Hearing Care Conference (MAHCC)
in Greenville, South Carolina, Greenville, Hyatt Regency Hotel
